Squeezed on both sides by funding cuts and increased academic standards, schools are being challenged to do more with less. One of the sacrifices many are making is play time during the school day.
Yoga Foster believes that play is an essential ingredient in the school day, building kids’ social, emotional, and physical muscles. They’re bringing play back to schools for the kids who need it most by providing free yoga classes that are designed specifically to teach kids to approach learning with clarity, confidence and collaboration.
I worked with Yoga Foster to develop a visual identity that would express the spirit of the organization and amplify their voice across communications. Play and creativity come through in the logos bouncy character, joyful colors, and expressive use of geometric shapes and brush strokes.
