After a promising first year the North Fork TV Festival was looking to establish itself as a premier TV festival supporting independently financed creative works. To help do so we created a vivid, celebratory and graphic visual identity. The festival takes places in Greenport, Long Island and the identity combines visuals of maritime flags from the area with various TV symbols. The modular system is built on TV’s 16x9 aspect ratio with symbols (play, fast forward, record, pause, etc.) being interpreted as colorful flags. To help launch the festival’s new look we created advertising, banners, signage, print collateral and motion assets. The second year of the Festival enjoyed a 600% increase in attendance.
